 Dreamatorium library customer computer usage policy statement

Dreamatorium library offers every computer hardware and software you could dream of and wants all our customers to enjoy the equipment to its fullest potential. To make sure that all customers and staff are safe while using the equipment we ask that you adhere to the following terms of use:

A booking time-limit applies for most Dreamatorium Library computers:

• Computers may be booked for up to 2 hours (we ask that for your overall health that you allow your body to have  break from the screen after this time).
• Some hardware can be borrowed from the library with a deposit, which is refunded upon the return of the item (*item returned in good condition).

Children under the age of 18 are the responsibility of the child's parent or guardian. The Dreamatorium Library accepts no responsibility or liability for a child’s use of Dreamatorium Library Computers.

For security reasons, Dreamatorium Library computers are automatically wiped of all data when a user logs off. Any files saved locally on the computers will not be recoverable.

Customers must not tamper with computer security or change established settings.

Computers must not be used for any obscene purposes including: 

• Customers are not permitted to gain access to or to transmit, publish or communicate any material that is pornographic, obscene, defamatory, offensive, objectionable, abusive, indecent, sexist, racist, menacing, or otherwise illegal.
• To make inappropriate contact with children or minors.
• To infringe another person’s rights (including that person’s intellectual property rights). 
• To violate or infringe any duty or obligation owed to any person under law.
• To make any hoax call, including calls to an emergency service.
